Influence of Workplace Diversity on Organizational Harmony of Telecommunication Companies in Rivers State Nigeria.

This study investigated the influence of workplace diversity on organzational harmony of telecommunication companies in Rivers State, Nigeria. Explanatory cross sectional survey research design was used to generate data and explain relationship among the study variables. The population of the study was nine hundred and six (906) and a sample size of two hundred and seventy (277) was used for the study. Both primary and secondary data were used to elicit information from respondents. Analysis was done using univariate descriptive stastistics and bivariate inferential statistic; bar chart, percentages, mean, standard deviation and spearman rank order correlation with the aid of Statiscal Package for Social Science (SPSS Verso 21.0). The result of the study showed that workplace diversity; generational gaps and social class significantly influence organizational harmony in the context of telecommunication companies in Rivers State Nigeria.
