Knowledge Resources Integration and the Performance of Quoted Manufacturing Companies in South-South, Nigeria

This study investigates the relationship between Knowledge resources integration and organizational performance of quoted manufacturing firms in the South-South, Nigeria. The study is designed as a cross-sectional study and utilized the structured questionnaire in its generation of data from 71 from 12 quoted manufacturing firms in the South-South, Nigeria. The Spearman’s ran order correlation was adopted in the bivariate analysis for the study. The results showed that knowledge resources integration significantly correlate with the performance of the quoted manufacturing companies in South-South Nigeria. On the basis of the outcome of the analysis, all hypotheses were rejected. The study concluded that the effective integration of the organization’s knowledge resource supports the application and assimilation of such resources in a way that enhances the outcomes of organizational performance with regards to market, operational and adaptive performance. Deriving from the findings, the researcher recommends that Knowledge resource integration should build on developing adaptive work frameworks and organizational structures that support and facilitate improved levels of communication and correspondence in ways that enable knowledge sharing and effective learning within and also outside the organization in ways that enhance the functionality and well-being of the organization.
